Training privacy notice

Effective September 24, 2026. This notice describes the training website at training.cobratactical.com and the class registration services operated by Cobra Tactical, Inc. The retail site at www.cobratactical.com has a separate privacy policy.

Information we collect

When you ask about or register for a class, we receive the information you provide. Depending on the class, that includes your name, email, mobile number, birth date, mailing address, issuing agency, prerequisite acknowledgement, handgun make, model and serial number, payment choice, discount code, notes, and your communications with us. Staff also record class attendance, results, payments, and certificates as those services are provided.

When you submit a signed class agreement, we retain the agreement version and text, your typed signature, safety initials, choices about electronic delivery and optional photo or video use, the submission time, and the IP address and browser information sent with that submission. The IP address helps document the electronic agreement; we do not add every visitor's IP address to a training customer profile.

How we use it

We use this information to respond to inquiries, check class eligibility, manage registration and schedules, arrange instruction, record payments and training results, issue records or certificates, send operational notices, and investigate errors or misuse. We use optional photo or video permission only according to the choice and agreement shown during registration. Text-message consent, if offered, is separate from completing registration.

Cookies and site measurement

The site uses a 30-day cookie to remember your 18-or-older entry choice. Sign-in features use authentication storage. On public information pages, Google Analytics measures visits and page use. It is not loaded on the secure registration form, authentication pages, or staff pages. We disable advertising personalization signals in this implementation. You can limit cookies and site measurement through your browser settings; some sign-in features may then be unavailable.

Our hosting and security providers may process technical request information, including an IP address, to deliver and protect the site. That is separate from the IP address saved with a submitted agreement.

Who receives information

Authorized Cobra Tactical staff and assigned instructors receive the information needed for their roles. We use service providers for hosting, secure data storage and authentication, email delivery, and public-page analytics. Payment information for check, cash, or Zelle is confirmed by staff; this training site does not currently collect card numbers for online checkout. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety and integrity of the service.

Retention and security

We keep class, payment, completion, and signed-agreement records as needed to operate training, address disputes, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. The period depends on the type of record and the reason it is needed. We review access and deletion requests against those obligations rather than promising automatic deletion after one period. Access to training records is limited by staff roles and database controls. Please do not email passwords, payment card numbers, or firearm serial numbers to request help.

Your choices and questions

You can decline optional photo or video use during registration. To ask what training information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email contact@cobratactical.com or call (661) 257-1406. We may need to verify your identity before discussing a private record. Some records may need to be retained for operational or legal reasons.

Training is intended for adults. The website asks visitors to confirm they are at least 18, and individual classes may set a higher minimum age. See our terms and conditions and accessibility and assistance page for other site information.
